Lib Dems gain seat in Powys after Tory MP resigns
This is the by-election caused by the new Conservative MP for Brecon and Radnor standing down as a councillor:

CON – 415
IND – 106

CON – 40.3% (-10.9)

There seems to be a theme with new Conservative MPs… and this is the second gain in Wales since the general election, following the gain last month in Wrexham from Labour.
