Lindsay Northover is the new Lib Dem peers rep on the Federal Executive
The election of a member of the party’s Federal Executive by the Liberal Democrat peers has had rather more attention than usual recently.
But for this year at least the excitement is over with the news that the Lib Dem peers have elected Lindsay Northover to be their rep.
Glad to have been elected – unopposed in fact! – as @LibDemLords rep on the Party's Federal Executive Committee. I look forward to this.

Lindsay takes over on the Federal Executive from Kishwer Falkner. She served as an international development minister and many years before that was a Parliamentary target seat candidate. She’s also a regular host of local party events and grassroots activist, not to mention a social media regular, giving her the sort of experience of numerous different facets of the party which I’m sure will come in useful on the Federal Executive.
She also has the tidiest computer cables at home I’ve ever seen.
