One loss, one gain; nearly a full set of candidates; Lib Dem vote on the up – and even an improvement in the lost seat’s ward on the last time the ward was contested.
Or in other words, another week and another round of local council by-election results which show the Liberal Democrats can recover, are recovering a little and yet still have a long way to go.
