Doughnuts at 4pm: campaigning with the Lib Dems in Chelmsford
Along with many other Liberal Democrat members from London, I headed off to Chelmsford today for another spot of local election campaigning:

There was a great turnout from across London:
Just a few of the many London Lib Dems out today campaigning with colleagues facing elections next week. https://t.co/34UR6Nu7Ot

And we were getting nicely busy:
Fuelled up and ready to go. Hello Chelmsford! #LibDems https://t.co/Zn0lkLa9nG

If these two people tell you to do something, you darn well do it! https://t.co/89e6CEKjqV

With some extra incentives to keep going:
Cunning tactic: telling a room of Lib Dem clerical helpers there will be doughnuts… at 4pm.

All helped by the opposition giving us some entertainment:
Having fun reading Chelmsford Conservative leaflets. Especially like the not-quite-vote-of-confidence in their own party: "please ignore what goes on elsewhere"; and the doubly-emphasised plea that they aren't responsible for potholes.

And a reminder about why such grassroots campaigning is so important:
Hunting to find any coverage of Lib Dem Euro campaign launch by @SkyNewsPolitics on Twitter or web. Have I missed something or did they just blank the story?
