If nothing else, Leveson should herald a new approach to coalition government
A very sensible twist on the long-running debate over how and how far the Liberal Democrats should look to differentiate themselves from the Conservatives in coalition:

Leveson is not part of the coalition agreement. There is no reason why Liberal Democrats have to line up with the Conservatives on this. A good House of Commons Speaker will give the procedural freedom to make that clear.
