Andrew Stunell was the Liberal Democrat MP for Hazel Grove 1997-2015. Later in 2015 he joined the House of Lords as a life peer.
He was the Lib Dem Chief Whip in the House of Commons 2001-6 and in 2010-12 he was a minister in the Department of Communities and Local Government.
He died in 2024.
